R & D in Practice I - Climate design

The first 'R&D in Practice' will focus on building physics within the educational (Master) program and the link to the building practice.

The afternoon will highlight a broad working field, like practice problems from companies and architects, innovative studies by students and how architects are inspired by the use of daylight. See the presentations here.

What is BT?

Students that graduate in Building Technology emphasize on the technical part of their building or component design. This in contradiction to the experience of Architecture, urban fitting of Urbanism or feasibility of RE&H. Some of these disciplines are part of Building Technology like technology is always a part of Architecture.

Graduation labs are Research and Design or Facade Design. After Architectural Engineering is extending with a Research and Design lab possible to graduate in both Architecture and Building Technology.
